    Throughout a week in summer 2019, visitors to Northlight gallery in Stromness were invited to write, alter or draw on detritus found washed up on the Orkney shoreline as a response to the object or a message back to the sea. The project ended with me returning all the items to nearby Warbeth, strewing them along the beach

    Early in 2018 I was awarded a visual art bursary by NLS to produce a series of large pastel drawings as part of a collaborative artistic project to launch a newly digitised archive holding the collection of Scottish school exam papers.
