November brings bare branches & stark forms; natural light is often subdued. We'll begin with a short walk to look at transformation in the landscape in preparation for winter. Then back to a warming fire to learn about this medium, its qualities and uses.

In this session, we will be working with ink (black + colour), using all manner of implements to draw/paint with! We will move through the session with a variety of playful prompts that compel a response, focussing on expressive gestural approaches to drawing. Ink is a versatile medium! We will use it full strength but also explore dilutions for tonal effect.
