Orkney poet Lydia Harris wrote this poem after seeing my pastel drawing 'Clouds Clearing' which depicts the view across the sea toward the isle of Rousay, looking out from the southern tip of Westray.

Lydia took part in the opening event of my exhibition 'of wild kin' at the Scottish Poetry Library in 2020, where I showed work in my 'Breath' series, made in repsonse to her poem Oxygenator.
